2008 Olympics - The Men’s Marathon

August 23, 2008

in Top Athletes

Just wanted to give you all a quick reminder in case you’re interested - the men’s marathon starts Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Beijing time, which is this evening here in the United States. It looks like NBC is providing at least some coverage of the event during tonight’s Olympic broadcast.

Tune or set those Tivo’s…and wish Ryan Hall or whoever your favorite is good luck!

Did you see the Kenyan who won - he made it look so easy and in such heat - truly inspiring!

Oh, and I’m glad to see I am not the only person who talks a lot to themself while doing speedwork. It’s an evil, but a necessary evil, I am finding, to do it.

It was a good race, Terri. I don’t think the Americans were counting on such a fast pace.

Good race… The American’s performed well. They have a couple olympic marathons in them yet. I think it was probably a good learning experience for them.
