As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m planning to do the half marathon event that’s associated with the Colorado Colfax Marathon. And now, there’s no backing out – I’ve officially registered.
If any of you are interested in running the half or the full marathon, there’s still plenty of time. The race is on May 17, 2009 and online registration does not close until May 14, 2009. For those of you that would like to run with a team, there’s also a marathon relay event.
There is an incentive for signing up early, however. If you register for either the full or half marathon by January 15, 2009, you’ll get a code that will allow one of your friends to register for free. I love this idea – it’s a great way to motivate someone else to start training.
