I think you're right - just planning to do the race is probably not enough - registering and coughing up the money is what'll really motivate you to train.</description>

		<description>Love this! Although, I never get a chance to sit on the couch, I like seeing new ways to motivate myself!  I think if you actually PAY for the race, you'll train better for it.  I love all your links here too.</description>

		<description>I think the best is to target a race, and therefore will make you more motivated to train for it.   I have the marathon that I'm training for, but that's not until May, so in the meantime, I will run some 5K's and 10K's for fun (and training).  I think my first one will be The Runnin' of the Green 7K in March.</description>
