My name’s Ben, and I’ve been an amateur runner for a long time. One thing I’ve always focused on, is learning to run faster.

I’ve heard people say things like, you can’t improve your running speed as an adult..or you can’t learn to sprint faster.

To me I think this is nonsense.

To some extent your speed is dictated by your body’s mechanics, your genes, and your build. However, you can change your mechanics. You can grow bigger muscles, you can focus on becoming more streamlined, and you can learn to run faster.

I’ll do my best on this site to share my own experiences and findings, as well as refer to other writer’s works where possible.

I’m not claiming to be the expert who knows the most, so don’t take what I say as 100% fact. Fitness, and running is usually about percentages rather than an exact science. What works for me might not work for you.

Your mileage may vary, as they say!

Now, I know that there are a lot of fitness sites out there already, and I’m not trying to say my information is better. Far from it!
